Does Your Ring Need to be Resized?
A ring that is too large or too small can really put a damper on your excitement about it and sizing issues are definitely something you want to address. A ring that is too large could slip off your finger and be lost. By contrast, a ring that is too small could get stuck on your finger, or you might have to avoid wearing it because of how uncomfortable it is. Most often though, you can get a ring resized and the cost will depend on the metal and the work that needs to be done.
The costs for ring sizing, within the limitations, on rings with a purchase total of €1000 or more, are in most cases complimentary.
In some rare more complex resizing, the cost could range from €50 to €150.
For rings under the €1000, a simple resize costs €50.
For a more complex resizing, the cost ranges from €50 to €150.
Regardless of the design, making a ring larger will always cost more.
Limitations Of Resizing
Resizing is usually limited to 1-2 sizes either larger or smaller than the current size, any further adjustment may compromise the ring’s strength and appearance. Rings inlaid with multiple stones such as eternity rings also have a high chance of their gems being damaged by the process and are not ideally suited for resizing. Most rings can withstand 1-3 resizing within their lifespan, any further adjustments may be detrimental to its structure.
